NFI Group (OTCMKTS: NFYEF), a leader in electric mass mobility solutions, announced that Sound Transit in Seattle has ordered 33 zero-emission Enviro500EV buses for its new Stride bus rapid transit (BRT) system. 

Scheduled for delivery in 2026, this order marks the introduction of Alexander Dennis’ next-gen electric bus technology to North America. The Stride Enviro500EV will utilize advanced zero-emission technology, including the Voith Electrical Drive System, enhanced energy storage, and inductive opportunity charging by InductEV, making it the first of its kind in North America.

The newly ordered electric buses are intended to operate on the upcoming Stride bus rapid transit (BRT) system developed by Sound Transit along Interstate 405.
